International Programs

College Achieve will develop international programs for Plainfield and North Plainfield students. Below are some stories about the five distinct experiential programs that College Achieve Central's founders developed at their previous schools that included national and international travel.  The SOAL (Summer of A Lifetime) took our students to Italy, France, England, Nicaragua, and Mexico). Our Music Program brought our jazz bands to Spain, Cuba, and Brazil.  And our boys and girls rugby teams traveled to England, France, China, New Zealand, andSouth Africa to compete athletically and attend classes at some of the finest schools in the world - see links above. The trips to South Africa and Robben's Island, and China's Great Wall were life changing experiences.
Promoting the documentary film of their travels:  Lost and Found in China.  See here also their documentary Red, White, Black & Blue.
Students in our  jazz band traveled to Spain, Cuba, and Brazil to perform and learn about other cultures.  While our Spanish teachers and college counselors have led groups of students to study language and perform community service programs in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Mexico.  Our SOAL Program - Summer Of A Lifetime - has not only sent students to study at Oxford and Cambridge Universities, but to the Sorbonne in Paris, and hundreds of our students to three week summer programs at such great American universities including Georgetown, Princeton, Dartmouth, Cornell, NYU, Loyola Marymount, UCLA, and the Coast Guard Academy.  Finally, we have successfully placed students in semester long programs in Italy and Japan
